BioGraft Synthetic (Alloplast) Bone Grafts are Gamma Sterilised

Sterilised products reduces infection in surgical practice. Majority of the products can be sterilsied by moist heat but can also subjected to sterilisation through Gamma or Ethylene Oxide processes. Sterilisation through moist heat and EO processes however require number of parameters to be controlled simultaneously whereas Gamma radiation require only parameter to be controlled. In the case of Gamma radiation degree of penetration is highest and factors like temperature, pressure, vaccum, humidity, drying /degasing after sterilisation does not affect the process.
